• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the needs of students, taking into account emotional, social, and educational factors.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, coping with grief, and adjustment to change.
• Develop and facilitate programs aimed at improving mental health awareness and promoting positive coping strategies within the school community.
• Coordinate with teachers, parents, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support systems are in place for students post-discharge or during crises.
• Utilize remote communication technologies to maintain regular contact with students and families, tailoring interventions based on their unique needs.
• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, providing immediate support to students facing urgent mental health challenges.
• Document interactions meticulously, maintaining compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements to protect student confidentiality.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to integrate psychosocial strategies into overall student care plans.

This position focuses on a diverse student population, including those experiencing social, emotional, and academic challenges. You'll work closely with children and adolescents, addressing their unique needs and collaborating with their families to facilitate a supportive environment that fosters resilience and educational success.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
• Strong understanding of mental health assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or educational setting, preferably with a focus on children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with remote counseling platforms and digital communication tools.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and community organizations to enhance student support networks.
