Steiger Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated, self-driven Remote Insurance Sales Producer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping clients protect what matters most.


As a Remote Sales Producer, you will generate new business through referrals, internet leads, networking, and outbound prospecting. You will educate clients on insurance solutions while providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new personal and commercial insurance business through phone, email, video meetings, referrals, and digital communication.
  • Sell Property, Casualty, and Life insurance products.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Quote, present, and close new insurance policies.
  • Cross-sell additional insurance products to maximize client protection.
  • Follow up consistently with leads and prospects.
  • Maintain detailed records in the agency management system and CRM.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Build long-term client relationships through exceptional communication and service.
  • Stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with agency staff to ensure a smooth customer experience from quote through policy issuance.

Requirements
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (resident or ability to obtain reciprocal licensing if needed)
  • Active Life Insurance License (or willingness to obtain shortly after hire)
  • Previous insurance sales experience with proven track record required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone sales and relationship-building abilities
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and multiple insurance carrier platforms
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home office
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
