Job description

Commercial Lines Account Manager - Account Executive
Salary: $90,000-105,000K (Depends on experience, knowledge, and training)
Location: Walnut Creek, CA (remote for local candidates)
Independent insurance agency is in search of a licensed commercial lines account manager to manage a book of commercial lines accounts.  This is a senior level position and will require client facing meetings.  The position will work within the commercial habitation space with a focus on HOA associations.  Will advise on policy and coverage questions and consult with clients on recommended policy changes. 

This position is open for partial or full remote employment for local candidates only.  Will require attending client HOA meetings.
Responsibilities:
  • Working knowledge of Property and Casualty accounts
  • Will meet with and advise HOA clients on policy and coverage concerns and recommendations.
  • Research and compile answers to client policy and coverage questions
  • Ability to market/quote new business and account renewals to obtain competitive coverage/cost ratios for the client
  • Experience with multiple carrier underwriters
  • Identify, compile and manage information regarding account renewals

Qualifications
  • 7 or more years of insurance industry experience related to servicing commercial accounts
  • Prefer experience with HOA clients and commercial real estate
  • Property and Casualty license
  • Applied EPIC, TAM, or AMS36 software experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage business
  • Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
