Information about Shattered Studios:
Shattered Studios is a nonprofit organization that shares hope and faith with young people through gaming, media, and the arts. Shattered creates engaging resources (comic books, podcasts, video content, games, etc.) that share faith principles, provides opportunities for young people to explore creativity and faith, and partners with other organizations that have a similar vision for outreach.
Shattered was created in response to a devastating increase in young people dealing with mental health issues, and that remains a major focus. Additionally, we minister to artists, creatives, and those who enjoy "Geek Culture" (video games, board games, etc.) as they often feel disconnected or misunderstood by the Church. Most recently, we have expanded our work with TCKs (Third Culture Kids). These are youth who spend a significant amount of their formative years in a culture different than their passport country and/or their parents' culture (such as children of military and missionary families). TCKs often have unique challenges and mental health issues they may encounter, but also great advantages that can be developed.
Status: Part-time or Full-time (Status of this role may expand to full-time based on interests, qualifications, and availability of the applicant. Open positions with Shattered may also be combined into a full-time position.)
Special Note:This is a support-based position that requires maintaining a personal ministry support team.
Location: Remote work is acceptable. Living near Orlando, Florida, is a plus, but not required.
Description:
This coordinator will help Shattered Studios create and edit its video content. They will assist in scheduling recording sessions and managing on-screen talent. They will also help with any necessary video edits.
This position will work closely with the Executive Director of Shattered Studios to determine which video projects will be created, identify the resources and talent needed to accomplish them, develop production timelines, and assist in all aspects of completing video projects. Additionally, they will help manage other Shattered Studios team members to meet all of these goals.
Qualifications:
Basic or Intermediate level of Video Editing and video editing software
Team Management experience is a plus
Familiarity with the YouTube platform is a plus
