Work Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About The Company:

Our client is a global professional services organization seeking a Benefits Analyst to join its growing Benefits team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with leave administration experience who enjoys supporting employees, navigating complex benefit programs, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position offers the potential to convert to a permanent role after approximately six months.

Job Description:

The Benefits Analyst will administer employee leave of absence programs while supporting health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, compliance initiatives, and benefits reporting. This role serves as a key resource for employees, managers, and HR by ensuring leave requests and benefit programs are administered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, has exceptional customer service skills, and enjoys collaborating across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee leave of absence programs, including family leave, medical leave, military leave, disability, and other statutory leave requests.
  • Serve as a primary resource for employees and managers by answering questions related to leave policies, eligibility, and benefits administration.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, HRIS, and third-party leave administrators to ensure seamless processing of leave requests from start to finish.
  • Monitor leave cases to ensure timely documentation, approvals, status updates, and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Support administration of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans and retirement benefits.
  • Assist with retirement plan activities, including participant enrollment, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare reports related to headcount, financial accruals, chargebacks, and benefits data to support audits and business operations.
  • Assist with annual audits, compliance testing, and required regulatory reporting.
  • Support open enrollment activities, benefit plan updates, and year-end benefits processes.
  • Stay informed of changes to leave regulations and employee benefits laws while contributing to process improvements and special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of experience administering Leave of Absence (LOA) programs and employee benefits.
  • Experience supporting high-volume leave administration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave programs, disability, parental leave, military leave, and related employment regulations.
  • Experience administering health and welfare benefits and retirement plans, including 401(k).
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Bswift and/or SAP is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented professional who collaborates effectively and contributes to a positive workplace culture.
