Job Description

The main responsibilities of the D365 Business Systems Analyst are to provide implementation, training and maintenance support to their local users of business applications, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 eco-system which includes Finance & Operations, Retail, Customer Service. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for analyzing business processes; structure/provide reporting for operational and decision-making business activities based on users and management requirements. This role is eligible to be fully remote after a two week initial in-person intensive training at our NYC office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

User’s Support 

  • Provide help-desk support for business applications questions 

  • Assist in the creation and evaluation of IT requests and direct them to the appropriate internal/external IT resource/queue based on request requirements and resource capabilities 

  • Analyze and resolve issues regarding application functionality 

  • Analyze and resolve data integrity issues

User Training

  • Develop and deliver applications training for end users 

  • Maintain training documentation for ERP, Dynamics 365 applications and supporting modules.

Business Process Analysis

  • Develop/Maintain operating procedures for business processes using the Dynamics 365 (Retail, Wholesale, Hotel Divisions) applications. 

  • Analyze and understand complex business processes and document said processes using PC-based tools such as MS-PowerPoint and MS-Visio

Business System Analysis

  • Develop test plans for use in piloting and testing new applications and version upgrades

  • Develop requirements definitions as necessary to be used to develop custom applications to meet business process requirements that cannot be met using existing D365 applications. 

  • Work with test environments for use in piloting new application implementations and version upgrade testing

Business Applications Promotion  

  • Advocate and encourage the utilization of the D365 applications and its functionality to all business units 

  • Develop effective presentations to describe the potential uses and benefits of business processes enabled using the business applications 

  • Understand the suite of D365 applications and Frette business process requirements such as to be able to recognize and promote opportunities to leverage the applications to improve Frette business operations and operating performance

Qualifications
  • 4 year degree in computer science, accounting, business, or equivalent experience 
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP applications especially Supply Chain/Finance & Operations/Retail modules highly preferred

  • MS Dynamics 365 or AX ERP applications: AP, AR, GL, Retail, Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, Inventory, and Project Accounting a plus

  • Knowledge of PowerBI, SSMS and PowerApps is a plus

  • Retail/Wholesale/Logistics/Finance experience is a plus 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity in addressing yet-to-be defined client business challenges especially where there is no precedent 

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex business processes and application solutions to users at all levels 

  • Understanding of the standard packaged systems implementation process 

  • Understanding of the standard software development life cycle 

  • Strong team player skills: flexible, friendly, collegial, and enthusiastic
