We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at a Correctional Behavioral Health care clinic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this full-time remote position, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health services to clients through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, as well as telehealth options. This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while working collaboratively with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. Our clinic embraces autonomy and creativity, encouraging you to tailor your therapeutic interventions to effectively meet the unique needs of each client. The work schedule will generally be Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, establish treatment plans, and continuously document client progress according to organizational policies.
• Manage and maintain a caseload of 25-30 client visits per week, providing consistent support and monitoring progress.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring each client feels understood and valued, while actively collaborating with a team to further our organizational mission.
• Leverage creative and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate client goal attainment and personal growth.
• Prepare thorough documentation for each therapy session in alignment with clinic guidelines, ensuring compliance and quality of care.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with case managers, families, and educational and medical personnel to create a holistic support network for clients.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, couples, and families, many of whom may be navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. Your role is vital in promoting resilience and recovery, particularly among those impacted by the correctional system. Understanding and embracing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client will be essential to effective therapy.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Strong proficiency in developing treatment plans, conducting diagnostic assessments, and maintaining clinical documentation.
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, couples, and families, with a focus on relationship dynamics.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proven ability to establish appropriate boundaries with clients while creating a nurturing therapeutic environment.
• Familiarity with the needs of a diverse client base, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and understanding.
• Must be able to pass a standard background check.

• Prior experience in a similar behavioral health or correctional setting is a plus.
• Comfort in handling the complexities involved in fee collection and managing therapy documentation effectively.
• A background in developing and implementing tailored therapeutic interventions that resonate with clients.
