Job description

Job Title: Architectural Designer / Draftsperson (Part-Time,

Remote/Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Designer / Draftsperson to join

our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and drafting

residential houses, sheds, and light commercial buildings while ensuring all designs comply with

state regulations.

This position offers excellent flexibility with a remote or hybrid work setup, starting as a part-

time role with the distinct potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, accurate blueprints and construction documents for houses, sheds, and

light commercial projects.

  • Ensure all structural plans comply closely with relevant state building codes and

regulations.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with builders, material supply companies, and

end customers to bring projects to life.

Qualifications Requirements

  • Software Expertise: Proficient, working knowledge of SolidBuilder or Envisioneer

(Cadsoft) is strictly required.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of standard construction terminology,

building techniques, and state building codes.
