• Directly engage with a diverse caseload of clients, performing assessments and providing individual, group, and family therapy in alignment with each client's needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that facilitate access to appropriate services, enhancing communication among clients, their families, and a network of healthcare providers.
• Conduct timely and thorough mental health screenings, employing evidence-based practices to recommend further assessments when necessary.
• Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative efforts to ensure all team goals are met, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
• Assist clients in crisis situations by conducting interventions and facilitating resources to maintain their safety and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and the organizational code of conduct, promoting an atmosphere of trust and collaboration.
• Monitor ongoing client progress, managing admission and discharge criteria while ensuring that services remain relevant to presenting issues and client goals.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by participating in respective committees aimed at enhancing service delivery.

This role specifically targets children and adolescents who exhibit symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. Understanding the educational context is crucial, as you will work closely with school systems to identify students needing support and provide them with tools for recovery within the school environment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Expert knowledge of assessment and treatment methodologies relevant to mental health.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with educational environments and partnerships with schools is an asset.
• Experience in crisis management and behavioral interventions.
