• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to diagnose and manage psychosocial problems that impede patient progress toward optimum functioning.
• Design personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with both patient needs and departmental standards.
• Engage in clinical interventions through individual and group therapy methodologies, assessing treatment efficacy and adapting strategies as necessary.
• Document all social work activities comprehensively in patients' medical records, adhering to departmental guidelines and ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, providing insights into patients' psychosocial backgrounds that inform their treatment programs and improve patient satisfaction.
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and families to enhance understanding of medical and social work recommendations, aiming to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Remain informed about community resources, advocating for patients to access necessary supports to bolster their recovery outside of the clinical setting.

The successful candidate will work primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Our patient population is diverse, encompassing various ages and backgrounds, particularly focusing on vulnerable groups who may have complex psychosocial issues. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive environment that recognizes each patient’s unique journey toward recovery.

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program and hold a current LCSW license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure. Your academic credentials will be complemented by a commitment to upholding the NASW Code of Ethics, ensuring high professional standards in practice. Additionally, our ideal candidate will demonstrate cultural competence and awareness, particularly regarding the aging process and developmental stages, to provide effective care tailored to our diverse clientele.

A minimum of six months to one year of clinical experience in a health or mental health setting is preferred. Familiarity or experience with populations relevant to our Detox Center services will be considered an asset. Further training and specialized knowledge in substance use and mental health conditions are highly beneficial, as they will enable you to address patients’ specific challenges effectively.

This full-time position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000.
