ABOUT THE ROLE

As Ox Engineered Products Regional Sales Director, you will get to use your experience and business acumen to drive sales for a rapidly growing manufacturer and industry leader in the building products space. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you will have the opportunity to grow your sales and business skill set and be the driving force behind our strategy to expand our penetration with builders, panelizers, dealers, and distributors in your region. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing a strategy to grow our top-line revenue with accounts in your region. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a willingness to take on new tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Design and execute a strategy to increase our penetration with builders, panelizers, dealers, and distributors in your region.
  • Create a laser focus on converting builders in your region.
  • Work with the National Account group to expand our business with key builders, dealers, and distributors in your region. 
  • Manage a network of territory and independent reps in your area.
  • Align the region's goals with your sales rep partners and make sure they are trained and have the right tools to succeed.
  • Set expectations with your direct reports.    
  • Attend key industry events to promote the Ox portfolio of products
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Business, Sales, or Marketing

Required Work Experience: 10+ years of sales experience in the building products industry; preference for lumberyard channel-related.

Travel Requirements: 60%

Additional Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the building products industry.
  • Experience with presenting to builders, architects, code officials, and distributors/dealers
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and creative problem solver, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to perform your job at the highest level. 
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
