The Position: NO RELOCATION required, work for HOME. FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE. Responsible for conducting Inpatient and/or Outpatient Coding Compliance Reviews/Audits at an expert level. The candidate should be able to provide the review/audit findings in a detailed report, and should feel comfortable presenting the findings in a REMOTE education session. The position provides an exciting opportunity to be recognized as an industry leader/expert and educator.

Key Job Responsibilities include:· Must be able to perform Inpatient DRG reviews and/or Outpatient Coding reviews 

  • Audit Medical Records for Coding Accuracy with an Expert level knowledge of hospital coding guidelines
  • Create comprehensive reports to indicate review findings of the record review, to include coding accuracy rates
  • Evaluate Clinical Documentation and Physician Query Opportunities
  • Provide Coder and CDI Educational sessions based on the review finding
