Description

Seeking a Senior Java Integration Developers to support multiple enterprise modernization and infrastructure initiatives. This role will focus on backend application development, systems integration, messaging technologies, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Java, IBM MQ, and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), along with modern DevOps practices utilizing GitHub Actions.

The ideal candidate is a Senior-level engineer who possesses both IBM MQ and ACE expertise, understands modern Java development practices, and has strong experience with GitHub-based CI/CD processes. They should be comfortable working remotely, require minimal oversight, and be capable of quickly contributing to complex technical initiatives.

Current Initiatives

Successful candidates may support one or more of the following programs:

Audit modernization initiatives

Legacy Solaris platform modernization and migration efforts

Spring Boot application development projects

Enterprise UI and integration enhancement projects

Additional enterprise technology modernization efforts

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Design, build, and maintain integrations leveraging IBM MQ and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

Support modernization efforts involving legacy platform migration and application upgrades.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Collaborate with architects, developers, and technical teams to deploy solutions across environments.

Troubleshoot application, integration, and messaging issues within production and non-production environments.

Follow secure coding practices and established development standards.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Work independently on assigned tasks while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
