Responsibilities:
Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area. General knowledge of System operations, policies, procedures and technologies.
 
Communications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience.
  • Effectively communicates with clients and other resources to update and maintain progress status. Provide input / status updates to senior leadership and executives during project design, build, and testing phases.
 
Automation & Toil Reduction
  • Demonstrating a proven track record of identifying repetitive manual tasks and implementing automation solutions to streamline workflows, reduce operational burden, and improve productivity.

Incident Management & On-Call Practices
  • Applying best practices in incident response, including proactive monitoring, rapid triage, and effective communication during on-call rotations. Ensuring that incidents are managed efficiently to minimize impact and restore services quickly.
  • Actively resolves and tracks the completion of events, changes, problems, incidents, and requests within appropriate process guidelines. Coordinates business requirements and scope, and participates in cross-functional teams to ensure product adherence to business requirements.
  • Leading efforts to diagnose and resolve complex production issues. Conducting thorough post-mortem analyses to identify root causes, document lessons learned, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
 
Reliability Engineering (SRE/DevOps/Systems Engineering)
  • Leveraging experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Systems Engineering to build and maintain robust systems. This includes designing for reliability, scalability, and maintainability, as well as collaborating across teams to drive operational improvements.
 
Security Best Practices
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of security principles and integrating them into operational processes. Ensuring compliance with security standards, proactively identifying vulnerabilities, and fostering a culture of secure operations.

Decision Making:
  • Works under direction and guidance in planning details of procedures and methods to attain definite objectives. Makes decisions within established or widely accepted standards. Achieving assigned/planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, training, business principles, and practical experience.
  • Experience w/ Agile methodology following SAFe.
  • On-Call rotation will be required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Highly Preferred Education/Experience: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent experience with 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience.
