We are seeking an expert-level CMM Programmer who models the accountability and humility that define our culture and who will thoughtfully bring the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality needed to help our growing $15 million company keep up with rapidly rising demand.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and optimize high‑quality CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso software (for a ZEISS Contura CMM 10/12/6 RDS with Vast XXT and a ZEISS Contura CMM 7/10/6 with Vast XT Gold)
- Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments
- Inspection planning, including ballooning drawings
- Interpret and analyze CMM reports, measurement results, and part specifications
- Support troubleshooting and validation activities to achieve FA qualifications quickly and efficiently
- Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to make and measure parts correctly the first time
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a CMM Programmer with the aptitude, willingness, and proactivity to excel in a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment.
The skills needed:
- 3+ years of hands‑on Calypso programming experience (required)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles and applications
- Competitive programming times
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- CMM inspection experience with curve forms, maximum material condition, and advanced GD&T (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with machining, especially 4- and 5-axis milling (preferred, not required)
