Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are working with a client seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools
  • Implement cloud security best practices and compliance controls
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost, and reliability
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-native applications
  • Optimize cloud spend and resource utilization
  • Document cloud architecture, configurations, and runbooks
  • Support migration of on-premises workloads to the cloud

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a cloud engineering or DevOps role
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform — Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
