Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible remote work environment, while also fostering collaboration with school staff and community partners. You will be working closely with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to create a supportive network around each client. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic counseling, psychotherapy, and comprehensive case management services to clients, addressing their unique mental health needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting actionable and measurable goals to facilitate progress.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them with essential resources, including financial assistance, housing support, and additional social services as required.
  • Conduct crisis intervention for clients facing acute psychological challenges, including but not limited to suicidal ideation, substance abuse crises, or severe trauma reactions.
  • Engage in educational outreach initiatives aimed at spreading mental health awareness and diminishing stigma within the school community.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential case records, treatment plans, and progress notes in adherence to HIPAA and relevant regulations.
  • Receive ongoing mentorship from senior clinical staff to foster both your clinical skills and personal development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on delivering mental health support to children, adolescents, and their families within the school context. You will work with a diverse client population, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
