Job description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant, Healthcare Consulting - Epidemiology within Life Sciences & Healthcare tojoin the Product and Portfolio Strategy Consulting Team, specializing in Epidemiology. You will serve as a critical member of project teams by providing analytical insight, leadership and creativity to billable client engagements, business development efforts and internal initiatives. The Senior Consultant will help to define projects, build work plans, and develop robust and valuable conclusions and recommendations for our clients. Consultants are vital to ensuring that we provide our clients with the insights and information they need to achieve success.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field

  • 7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in patient population sizing and forecasting

  • Experience in R, Python, or SAS

  • Direct experience with biopharma or life sciences customers

  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • MPH or MSc in Epidemiology or equivalent in a related field

  • PhD would be a plus

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Conduct literature reviews and analysis of healthcare datasets to obtain epidemiological insights relevant to client requirements

  • Execute complex analytical tasks and research efforts by applying advanced healthcare analytics methods, synthesizing large clinical datasets, and interpreting findings to generate actionable insights for clients

  • Develop and implement new analytical approaches and solutions tailored to address specific epidemiological challenges and customer needs.

  • Contribute to brainstorming and framework development to address key client strategic needs from an epidemiological perspective.

  • Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, white papers, abstracts, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication etc.

  • Engage on multiple client projects, effectively manage time commitments, and assume greater leadership and project management responsibilities over time

  • Mentor and guide junior consultants in their professional development and project execution, with a focus on healthcare-related skills and knowledge.

  • Support senior team members in business development efforts including greenfield research, developing proposals, and responding to RFP's

Compensation

The expected base salary for this position is a base salary of $115,200 - $144,000 USD ($112,800 - $141,000 CAD) per year witheligibility for bonus.Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability,expertise,and relevant factors.
