They often work for hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, or medical device manufacturers, delivering instruction on clinical procedures, product usage, or patient care best practices. Remote Clinical Educators use video conferencing, webinars, and digital resources to effectively communicate and educate without being physically present at a healthcare facility. This role typically requires a background in nursing or another clinical field, along with strong communication and teaching skills.

Familiarity with e-learning platforms, virtual simulation tools, and learning management systems is typically required. These skills are vital for delivering effective education, supporting clinical competence, and adapting to the evolving needs of healthcare professionals in a virtual environment.
