Job Position: Sr. Salesforce Architect
Location: Remote (Very Occasional Visit to Reston, VA)
Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain Federal Security Clearance
 
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Salesforce Architect to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of enterprise-level Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud, along with strong knowledge of Salesforce architectural best practices.
 
Key Responsibilities
•     Design and define end-to-end Salesforce architecture aligned with business and technical requirements
•     Lead solution design and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platforms
•     Architect and implement Salesforce Health Cloud solutions, including expertise with the Health Cloud data model (patient/member profiles, care plans, clinical and non-clinical data)
•     Design, configure, and optimize Experience Cloud portals for customers, partners, and internal users
•     Implement and manage Salesforce Data Cloud for data ingestion, unification, harmonization, and analytics
•     Define scalable integration strategies using REST APIs, middleware, and external systems
•     Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and high-performing while following Salesforce best practices
•     Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
•     Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor Salesforce developers
•     Support release planning, deployment strategies, and post-production support activities
•     Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards (HIPAA knowledge is a plus)
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
•     12+ years of experience working on the Salesforce platform, including 5+ years in an Architect role
•     Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud
•     Proven experience designing and implementing Experience Cloud solutions
•     Solid experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data modeling and data integration
•     Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, data management, and sharing rules
•     Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other declarative tools
•     Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
•     Ability to lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture governance sessions
 
Preferred Qualifications
•     Agency force experience (strong plus)
•     Salesforce certifications such as:
o     Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
o     Salesforce Certified System Architect
o     Salesforce Certified Application Architect
o     Health Cloud Accredited Professional
•     Experience in healthcare, life sciences, insurance, or other regulated industries
