Crystal Lake Families & Kids Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) to join our team. This remote, full-time position focuses on providing high-quality mental health consultation and care to patients within the framework of community health. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will leverage your expertise to support the emotional and psychological well-being of clients while ensuring adherence to established guidelines and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

As an LCPC at Crystal Lake, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient intakes, including diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health needs.
  • Collaborating with primary care providers to recommend treatment goals and develop individualized care plans based on your evaluations.
  • Providing brief, focused interventions for clients requiring mental health services and ensuring that referrals to specialty facilities are made when necessary.
  • Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment approaches as needed, including developing relapse prevention strategies.
  • Assisting in the identification of at-risk patients to prevent worsening of their mental health conditions.
  • Documenting clinical evaluations and patient progress comprehensively in treatment charts to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educating patients on self-management techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Maintaining working relationships with community resources to provide coordinated care for patients.
  • Upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals in all interactions.
  • Participating in program evaluation efforts to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to stress-related issues stemming from personal and social challenges. You will engage with a diverse patient population, ensuring culturally competent care that resonates with our clients' unique experiences.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A current license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health assessment practices and treatment planning.
  • Strong understanding of developmental psychopathology, DSM-IV diagnoses, and behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Proficient documentation and organizational skills to maintain comprehensive clinical records.
  • Ability to establish effective and trusting relationships with patients, families, and team members.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable to better serve our diverse patient base. Familiarity with community resources and their integration into patient care will be considered an asset, as will any previous experience in a healthcare or community-oriented role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 โ€“ 105,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
