This remote position offers the flexibility of working from a climate-controlled office environment but allows for daily movement and interaction through virtual platforms with colleagues and educational professionals. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare providers, enhancing cross-department relationships to deliver comprehensive care.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and evaluate the mental health status of patients, leveraging established tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to formulate individualized care plans.
• Provide evidence-based outpatient therapy, regularly analyzing and adapting treatment strategies based on patient progress, feedback, and evolving needs.
• Document all treatment records, reports, and clinical interactions accurately and on-time using current electronic health record technologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to create comprehensive, culturally sensitive treatment plans that address specific goals and needs related to mental and emotional well-being.
• Serve as a key referral resource, facilitating connections between patients and external treatment options while fostering robust relationships with other healthcare providers.
• Contribute to the training and development of interns and volunteers by providing mentorship and sharing your clinical expertise.
• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaborations, assisting in the professional development of colleagues under the guidance of your clinical supervisor.

You will primarily work with students and families affected by various mental health concerns linked to a cancer diagnosis. Our approach emphasizes sensitivity and cultural awareness, ensuring that every interaction supports our clients’ unique life experiences and needs.

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Previous experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with mental health treatment modalities specific to oncology care for individuals and families.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
