Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and comfort while providing care. Our telehealth facility utilizes cutting-edge technology to facilitate patient interactions, enabling you to reach individuals from various backgrounds who require mental health support. You will be working during core business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders, using standardized tools and observational methods.
  • Collaboratively establish individualized treatment plans bearing in mind the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to each individual's situation.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders and available treatment avenues, emphasizing self-care techniques and coping strategies.
  • Monitor client progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain current knowledge of advancements in mood disorder treatment, integrating new research findings into therapeutic practices.
  • Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment updates in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Participate actively in case consultation discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills.
  • Champion the destigmatization of mental health disorders by advocating for clients and their needs within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers on individuals facing mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Qualifications
  • Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Possess active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, ensuring adherence to state regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrate expertise in recognized therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a strong understanding of psychopharmacology.
  • Exhibit a proven history of successful outcomes using evidence-based approaches in treating mood disorders.
