• Conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations to assess the mental health needs, strengths, and resources of students and their families.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, tailored to a school-based context.
• Utilize modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to develop treatment plans that prioritize the client's individual goals.
• Work alongside a team of professionals, including psychiatrists and educational specialists, to ensure integrated care for students’ mental health.
• Facilitate crisis intervention services, including risk assessments, and develop safety plans when necessary to support at-risk students.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client progress and treatment compliance, adhering to all ethical and legal standards.
• Lead psychoeducation classes and support groups, fostering a safe space for students to share their experiences and learn coping strategies.

Your primary focus will be the students enrolled in our partner schools, many of whom face various emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. This role demands a high level of cultural competency and sensitivity, as you will be working within diverse populations. Your contributions will directly enhance students’ academic performance and overall well-being, significantly impacting their educational journey.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut.
• At least two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably within school systems.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and clinical assessment.

• Experience working within school systems, understanding educational policies and environments.
• Background in program development or participation in school-based mental health initiatives.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools, facilitating remote therapy sessions.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
