As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and leveraging agency resources, services, and systems to effectively support client treatment.
• Completing all required agency orientations, familiarizing yourself with policies and procedures, and collaborating with staff members.
• Preparing thoroughly for client sessions by reviewing case notes and conducting necessary research to understand client issues.
• Participating in small group supervision and seminar preparation, which may involve reviewing recorded sessions and engaging in evidence-based research.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate client records, both written and electronic, in adherence to industry standards.
• Coordinating with partner agencies to facilitate comprehensive care, including agency visits and resource sharing.
• Conducting consultations with clients and collaborating with other professionals within the agency to enhance treatment plans.
• Writing detailed case notes, conducting assessments, and providing evaluations that will support ongoing client treatment.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans (ITP) tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Assisting therapists in scoring and interpreting psychometric assessments, along with reporting findings accurately.
• Joining supervision sessions in collaboration with site supervisors to ensure high standards of clinical practice.
• Attending all relevant meetings, including routine staff meetings and specialized clinical discussions.

Our client population encompasses individuals across various age groups facing a wide range of mental health challenges. This includes anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing tailored mental health interventions to help clients achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• State licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory.
• No record of medical malpractice claims, with verification by a third party required.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and develop trusting relationships with clients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

While not mandatory, experience in a remote counseling setting is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of best practices in different therapeutic modalities will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care. A background in working with diverse populations and those experiencing crises will also be beneficial.
