Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing thoroughly for client sessions by reviewing case notes and conducting necessary research to understand client issues.

  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate client records, both written and electronic, in adherence to industry standards.
  • Coordinating with partner agencies to facilitate comprehensive care, including agency visits and resource sharing.
  • Conducting consultations with clients and collaborating with other professionals within the agency to enhance treatment plans.
  • Writing detailed case notes, conducting assessments, and providing evaluations that will support ongoing client treatment.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans (ITP) tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Assisting therapists in scoring and interpreting psychometric assessments, along with reporting findings accurately.
  • Joining supervision sessions in collaboration with site supervisors to ensure high standards of clinical practice.
  • Attending all relevant meetings, including routine staff meetings and specialized clinical discussions.
