We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to support enterprise finance transformation and AI-driven initiatives within a large, complex organization. This role will sit at the intersection of finance, data, and technology, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and translate finance business requirements into actionable data and technical requirements Partner with finance stakeholders to identify and define AI-driven use cases (e.g., spend analysis, AP/AR insights, inventory optimization) Collaborate with data engineering teams to identify, source, and structure large data sets Work within cross-functional project teams (PMs, vendors, engineers, product teams) Drive discovery efforts across multiple systems and data sources Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives (SAP → Workday journey) Operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments with shifting priorities Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes through data

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $90.00/hr.
