• Conduct comprehensive assessments and supportive individual therapy sessions to address the varied needs of patients.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans based on patient evaluations, using the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment strategy.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of patient progress and interventions, completing progress notes at the end of each shift.
• Educate and orient patients and their families about the treatment process, ensuring mutual understanding and engagement.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and management, applying techniques learned from secure training programs to monitor and de-escalate challenging situations.
• Advocate for necessary services and resources for assigned patients, reflecting commitment to their well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, ensuring coordinated care and multi-faceted support for patients.
• Provide timely updates to medical staff regarding changes in patient behavior or condition.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current Licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting marriage and family therapy with diverse populations.
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities essential for building and maintaining therapeutic alliances.
