At CCMSI, we partner with global clients to solve their most complex risk management challenges, delivering measurable results through advanced technology, collaborative problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to their success.

As the largest privately-owned Third Party Administrator (TPA), CCMSI delivers customized claim solutions that help our clients protect their employees, assets, and reputations. We are a certified Great Place to Work, and our employee-owners are empowered to grow, collaborate, and make meaningful contributions every day.

Job Summary

The General Liability & Premises Liability Claims Adjuster is responsible for the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of commercial general liability, premises liability, and bodily injury claims within a national accounts environment.

This role supports several high-profile national account programs operating within the hospitality, retail, and entertainment industries, requiring exceptional communication, strong liability analysis, and the ability to independently manage claims from assignment through resolution.

Approximately 15% of the claim inventory involves New York exposures, making an active New York Adjuster License a requirement for consideration. Claims are handled across multiple jurisdictions nationwide and frequently involve litigated matters, attorney representation, bodily injury exposures, and complex liability investigations.

The ideal candidate brings significant experience handling commercial general liability and premises liability claims, understands litigation management and defense counsel oversight, and is comfortable working directly with sophisticated national account clients that expect responsiveness, thorough documentation, and proactive claim management.

This is not a high-volume production environment. Adjusters are expected to own their files, exercise sound judgment, maintain strong client relationships, and deliver high-quality claim outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesWhen we hire adjusters, we look for professionals who take ownership of their work, navigate complex claims with confidence, and deliver exceptional service with integrity. In this role, you'll manage your files independently while contributing to a collaborative, highperforming team. What You'll Do
  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multiline liability claims (GL & bodily injury) in accordance with CCMSI standards and state requirements.
  • Manage claims involving commercial vehicles, trucking exposures, commercial general liability premises/product claims, and thirdparty liability.
  • Determine coverage, assess liability, and develop defensible claim strategies.
  • Review medical, legal, and vendor invoices for accuracy and reasonableness; negotiate discrepancies as needed.
  • Establish, monitor, and adjust reserves in alignment with exposure and authority guidelines.

  • Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed and timely claim documentation, diary management, and financial reporting.
  • Support excess reporting requirements and client communication needs.
  • Deliver consistent, highquality service with professionalism and integrity.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have extensive General Liability and Premises Liability claim experience
  • Enjoy investigating and resolving complex liability claims
  • Are comfortable managing litigation and working with defense counsel
  • Prefer a relationship-driven national account environment over high-volume transactional claim handling
  • Take ownership of your files and proactively communicate with clients and stakeholders
  • Thrive in hospitality, retail, entertainment, or other customer-facing liability exposures
