Responsibilities:
1. Managing a caseload of complex insurance defense cases.
2. Preparing legal reports, opinions, and legal advice.
3. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis.
4. Representing clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
5. Conducting and managing depositions.
6. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and contracts.
7. Collaborating with team members and clients to develop effective defense strategies.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest legal trends, regulations, and precedents.
9. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the State Bar of California.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
4. Proven experience in trial advocacy, depositions, civil litigation, and professional liability.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. The ability to manage a high-volume case load while maintaining high-quality work.
7. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
