If you reside near Las Vegas, Nevada, you'll enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote position* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The IT I&O Engineer is responsible for providing ongoing operational support across Citrix infrastructure, Active Directory, virtualization, storage systems, and enterprise data protection platforms, ensuring a stable, secure, and compliant environment

  • This role will perform routine patching, vulnerability remediation, and system maintenance activities, including responding to security advisories and implementing corrective actions through formal change management processes

  • Responsibilities include administration and support of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, including VDA maintenance, authentication components, and user access validation, as well as operational oversight of backup and recovery platforms (Acronis) to ensure data protection and business continuity

  • The role will also support VMware and NetApp-based infrastructure, assisting with system performance, availability, and storage-related security controls. In addition to steady-state operations, the engineer will provide on-site support for data center and clinic environments, performing hands-on troubleshooting, hardware validation, and infrastructure remediation when remote resolution is not sufficient

  • The position will contribute to data center lifecycle initiatives, including system decommissioning, infrastructure upgrades, and workload migrations, ensuring changes are executed in alignment with security, compliance, and operational standards. The role requires close coordination with infrastructure, security, and application teams and includes the creation of audit-ready documentation and evidence to support ongoing compliance requirements

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations
  • 3 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and systems engineering, with hands-on experience supporting Citrix environments, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and storage systems in a production setting
  • 3 years of experience in vulnerability remediation, patching, and system hardening within regulated or enterprise environments
  • 3 years of experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Windows Server administration, and identity and access management

Preferred Qualification:

  • Candidates should also have experience supporting backup and recovery solutions (Acronis, Veeam, or similar), as well as familiarity with VMware virtualization and NetApp storage platforms
  • Strong understanding of change management processes, audit requirements, and compliance frameworks is expected
  • Scripting and automation experience (e.g., PowerShell) is preferred to support operational efficiency
  • The candidate must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and effectively collaborate across technical teams
  • The role requires the ability and willingness to provide on-site support at data center and clinic locations, including participation in infrastructure troubleshooting, system validation, and migration or decommissioning activities
  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments is preferred but not required
