Job description

Description

The candidate takes initiative and is detail-oriented. They proactively identify billing discrepancies, follow through on carrier disputes, and manage their own workload with minimal supervision.

The candidate is a strong communicator who can translate complex invoice and carrier data into plain language for internal customers and feels comfortable working with telephony carriers on changes and disputes.

The candidate has strong Excel skills. They are comfortable in Excel, building and maintaining audit workbooks, pivot tables, and lookups to track invoice variances, mobile device inventory, and carrier contract details.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

Audit and reconcile 40+ monthly carrier invoices across AT&T and other telecom vendors as they come in.

Audit the corporate mobile fleet (~600 phones, hotspots, and tablets). Identify unused or orphaned lines, devices with no active user, and plans that can be right-sized or disconnected.

Work with AT&T to process disconnects, plan changes, and contract simplifications resulting from the audit.

Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and Excel reports to track telecommunications spend, inventory, billing trends, carrier performance, and realized cost savings.

Maintain carrier contract documentation, including contract terms, renewal dates, service agreements, pricing schedules, and supporting documentation.

Experience supporting enterprise wireless environments (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)

Experience working with telecommunications carriers to resolve billing, provisioning, and service issues

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis

Experience maintaining telecommunications inventory and documentation

Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams

Experience identifying cost savings and improving operational processes

Experience with carrier circuit administration or telecommunications inventory management is a plus.
