Freedom House Recovery Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to connect with clients through virtual therapy sessions. However, you will also have access to our outpatient office located in Baltimore for collaborative meetings and professional development activities. • Conduct thorough evaluations of client needs through comprehensive assessments to inform individualized therapy plans tailored to each person's unique circumstances.
• Provide high-quality therapy to individuals, couples, and families, using a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and systemic approaches.
• Document all therapy sessions and client progress accurately while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards in line with state regulations and professional best practices.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities, including workshops, conferences, and peer supervision, to stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, incorporating insights from psychiatry, social work, and other disciplines when necessary.

The clients you will serve at Freedom House include individuals facing a variety of life challenges, including marital issues, parenting dilemmas, and personal mental health struggles. • A Master’s or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field is required.
• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license to practice in Maryland is mandatory.
• Proficiency in evidence-based clinical practices and therapeutic interventions tailored to family dynamics.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
• A solid understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health care.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably focusing on marriage and family therapy.
• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions for families and couples.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize various digital tools and platforms for remote therapy provision.
• Background in crisis intervention and risk assessment practices.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
