Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to inform individualized therapy programs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans for clients engaging with individual, couple, and family therapy.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge of emerging best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Freedom House Recovery Clinic, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing relationship challenges, families in crisis, and adolescents navigating life transitions. Our client-focused approach emphasizes culturally competent care, enabling therapists to address the unique backgrounds and personal stories of each patient. Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland.
• Proficiency in therapeutic methodologies with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients compassionately.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct therapeutic experience, particularly in community health settings.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including but not limited to various cultural, socioeconomic, and age groups.
• Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.

Compensation and Benefits
