• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment strategies.
• Ensure compliance by completing all required documentation timely and accurately, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Implement evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to promote effective evaluation and intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and execute positive behavior support plans that enhance client outcomes.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure seamless access to the necessary resources.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to promote our programs and secure potential partnerships and funding.
• Pursue professional and personal growth opportunities by attending relevant conferences and workshops, representing the agency at statewide meetings, and participating in task forces related to your area of expertise.
• Embrace and promote the mission, values, and principles of Long Beach Counseling Services in all interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

You will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals facing mental health challenges, those in recovery from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your expertise will empower these individuals to navigate their unique challenges, promoting a strengths-based approach that encourages growth and resilience.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license is essential for this role.

While a minimum qualification is essential, experience working in community health settings and familiarity with a variety of therapeutic approaches will be beneficial. Candidates who have demonstrated success in collaborative multidisciplinary teams and can adapt to the evolving landscape of mental health services will be highly valued.
