• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional health, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with clients to evaluate their individual needs, issues, and treatment goals, ultimately resulting in tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions across a diverse age range, effectively addressing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Provide couples therapy aimed at enhancing communication, aiding conflict resolution, and strengthening relationships.
• Regularly review and adapt treatment plans based on clients’ progress, ensuring a responsive approach to changing needs.
• Document client interactions thoroughly, maintaining accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Be prepared to intervene in crisis scenarios, offering support to clients in acute distress or emergency situations.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge by staying informed about the latest research and best practices in therapy.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse client demographic, which may include children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Your therapeutic approach will not only focus on the individual but also account for familial dynamics, ensuring that interventions are holistic and collaboratively developed. This role requires sensitivity to various backgrounds and challenges, allowing for the delivery of personalized care that meets clients where they are.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated skills in conducting assessments, completing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate client documentation.

• Experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy in a professional setting.
• Prior work with child and adolescent populations is preferred, though all backgrounds are welcome.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and methods is a plus.
