Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children's developmental needs, diagnosing issues where applicable.
  • Participating actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring family involvement in every aspect.
  • Monitoring and documenting outcomes as a collaborative team member to assess the effectiveness of interventions.

  • Utilizing evidence-based practices and following Natural Learning Environment Practices while recommending strategies for child development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on young children and their families, particularly those with disabilities or developmental delays. You will be instrumental in providing early intervention services that span physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skill development. Working closely with families, you will help navigate the resources available to them while ensuring that the child's needs are prioritized within their natural learning environments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure through the Department of Public Health, specifically holding a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate occasional travel if needed.
  • Proficient in adapting to various learning styles and demonstrating a commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
