This role typically involves creating and implementing strategies to secure financial support, managing donor relationships, and leading a development team from a remote location. The CDO collaborates closely with the executive team to align fundraising goals with the organization's mission and growth objectives. Effective communication, leadership, and experience in philanthropy or business development are key skills for this position.

How does a remote chief development officer effectively lead and coordinate fundraising teams across different locations?
