This position is designed to be remote, giving you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will join a supportive outpatient practice that reduces administrative burdens, allowing you to concentrate on your client interactions. Our advanced technological infrastructure ensures smooth communication with clients through video and text sessions while simplifying documentation and billing tasks.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, utilizing evidence-based techniques to facilitate conversational therapy aimed at improving client mental health.
• Encourage clients to openly discuss their emotions and experiences, thereby fostering personal insight and understanding of their relationships.
• Act as a client advocate, helping them define realistic goals in their mental health journeys.
• Perform thorough evaluations of clients’ mental conditions, formulating detailed treatment plans tailored to meet their specific needs, utilizing a solution-focused approach.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive care and follow up on client progress, refining treatment approaches as necessary.
• Utilize our all-in-one counselor dashboard for managing appointments, client communications, and documentation efficiently.

Your clientele will consist of carefully screened adult clients exhibiting low acuity mental health issues, ensuring a stable environment for therapeutic interventions. We prioritize matching you with clients who align with your specialties and preferences, thereby enhancing your effectiveness as a counselor. You can expect to work with clients dealing with anxiety, mild depression, and stress management, among other concerns, which allows you to witness gradual improvements over time.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling or Psychology is required.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of New Jersey, such as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses will be accepted, and candidates must have no prior disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficient in technology and comfortable using telehealth platforms for client interactions.

• Previous experience in teletherapy or remote counseling settings is highly desirable.
• Experience with diverse populations and varying mental health issues will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and experience level. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus as well as:
