You will conduct 1:1 counseling sessions via secure video chat from the comfort of your home, interact with clients who have been carefully screened to ensure they present low acuity and stable emotional states, and nurture supportive therapeutic relationships that foster growth and healing.

• Provide individual counseling services through video sessions, focusing on a range of emotional and psychological issues.
• Facilitate discussions with clients about their emotions and experiences to help them gain insights into their mental health and relationship dynamics.
• Assess the emotional and mental health needs of clients and identify disorders such as anxiety, grief, and stress.
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans using a solution-focused approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Your work will primarily involve emotionally struggling adults who are looking for support and strategies to manage their mental health. The clients you will serve are pre-screened for stability, allowing you to focus on providing effective care without dealing with crisis-level interventions associated with higher acuity clients.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active and independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential without restrictions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong computer skills and comfort using technology to conduct sessions, manage appointments, and maintain client records.

• Ability to perform professional evaluations and make clinical decisions in treatment planning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Experience working with diverse populations and awareness of cultural competencies in therapy.
