Intercare Therapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team as a Remote Mental Health Counselor. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home, cultivating a comfortable and productive work-life balance. We offer both full-time (30+ hours/week) and part-time (5+ hours/week) options with a flexible schedule that allows you to set your own hours. You will utilize a user-friendly counseling platform designed specifically for mental health professionals, making your workflows efficient and straightforward.

• Deliver ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions through secure video chat platforms.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to help clients cultivate new coping strategies, improve problem-solving abilities, and enhance communication skills.
• Maintain accurate and organized records while minimizing paperwork to focus more on client care.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on working with stable, low-acuity adults who may be experiencing issues such as anxiety, mild depression, and life transitions. By providing targeted support, you will empower clients to lead more fulfilling lives and foster effective coping mechanisms.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Must hold a current and valid state license in one of the following areas: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Independent licensure without the requirement for supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions associated with your license.
• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by empathy and active listening.
• Proficient computer literacy and a stable internet connection to facilitate telehealth sessions.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience using telehealth platforms and those familiar with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be given preference. Additionally, experience in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs is desirable.
