• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that meticulously evaluate patients' trauma histories to tailor appropriate treatment approaches.
• Develop, execute, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing therapeutic modalities like EMDR and TF-CBT.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a space for patients to process traumas, develop adaptive coping strategies, and foster healing.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated treatment for all clients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.
• Offer educational resources to patients and families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy through continuous education and training opportunities.

You will predominantly work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their emotional landscapes, offering them the tools to heal and rebuild their lives. The focus on trauma-informed methodologies ensures a holistic approach to care, attended by the understanding of their unique psychological experiences.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.
• Proven understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in challenging or high-stress situations, ensuring the emotional well-being of clients.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly focusing on trauma-focused interventions.
• Hands-on experience utilizing various trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based approaches tailored to meet individual client needs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in navigating relevant computer applications.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of patient care.
