Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and needs, guiding your treatment plans.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based modalities and innovative practices.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions that facilitate trauma processing, the development of coping strategies, and emotional healing.
• Implementing evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients in their healing journey.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other clinical professionals, to provide holistic and integrated care.
• Delivering crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and support for clients in distress.
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with essential resources for recovery.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation that adheres to ethical, legal, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Participating in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and enhance treatment approaches.
• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, contributing to a culture of learning within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma—ranging from single-event incidents to chronic complex trauma. Our client population includes adults and adolescents seeking support, healing, and coping strategies. By facilitating a safe and empathetic space, you will play an essential role in guiding these individuals as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-focused treatment modalities.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a passion for patient care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable using technology in clinical settings.
• A collaborative mindset, successfully working within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience delivering trauma-informed care in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
