Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing teletherapy services to stable, low-acuity adults needing support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video chat to assess and improve clients' mental health and overall well-being.
• Encouraging clients to explore their emotions and experiences, facilitating insight into their personal challenges and relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining their goals and identifying pathways to achieve them.
• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions and developing tailored treatment plans utilizing a solution-based approach grounded in your clinical expertise.
• Utilizing our user-friendly counselor portal to manage your schedules, client bookings, and session documentation with minimal administrative burdens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on pre-screened clients who are stable adults presenting with low to moderate mental health needs. Importantly, you will engage with individuals who are not experiencing severe mental health crises, allowing you to focus on supportive and preventative care. We ensure you are matched with clients aligned with your specialties and demographic preferences, enhancing the therapeutic relationship and effectiveness of your services.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental attitude.
• Robust organizational and time-management capabilities to effectively balance caseloads and client care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in teletherapy or remote counseling is advantageous, but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and billing processes.
• Specialized training or experience in areas such as trauma, addiction, anxiety, or pediatric mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a lucrative salary, our benefits include:
