Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat, utilizing a range of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Identify and assess the mental health needs of clients, developing tailored therapy goals and objectives outlined in individualized treatment plans.
• Employ solution-focused techniques to guide clients in gaining insights into their feelings, experiences, and relationships.
• Monitor client progress throughout their therapeutic journey, adjusting the treatment plans as necessary to support effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care when needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Virtual Mental Health Therapist with Dignity and Mental Health Systems, you will primarily serve a diverse population of stable, low-acuity adults seeking support for various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to connect with clients who are looking for immediate assistance, helping them navigate their emotions and develop skills for better mental health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current state licensure is required. Appropriate licenses include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist (PsyD).
• Ability to practice independently without supervision.
• No disciplinary actions on your license.
• Proficient in using technology for telehealth services.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the latest advancements in psychotherapy and mental health treatments.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on the number of hours worked and client load.
