Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing counselors to operate from their chosen setting, whether it be their home office or any other comfortable space. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized mental health sessions via video chat, ensuring a warm, ethical, and confidential environment for clients.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused methodologies to design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Assist clients in developing insight into their experiences, emotions, and relationship dynamics, which is critical for their healing journeys.
• Monitor client progress against established treatment goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to foster their personal growth and coping skills.
• Maintain professional documentation and records of client interactions while minimizing paperwork to enhance time spent on direct care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus on providing care for stable, low-acuity adults who present with a variety of mental health needs. This may include clients navigating stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Your role is crucial in equipping them with the skills necessary to improve their everyday quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, unrestricted state-issued mental health counseling license, including but not limited to: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist. Note: We do not provide supervision for those holding provisional or limited licenses.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with a compassionate nature conducive to building therapeutic relationships.
• Strong proficiency with technological tools, including experience with video conferencing solutions.
• A reliable internet connection and a computer equipped with a webcam and audio capabilities to facilitate virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in conducting mental health assessments and therapy, particularly in a remote setting, is highly valued. Familiarity with online counseling platforms and digital tools for session management will be advantageous as well.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include:
