Key Responsibilities

As a licensed mental health therapist at Welbehealth, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting empathetic and ethical one-on-one counseling sessions via video chat, fostering a supportive environment for client discussions.
• Implementing solution-focused therapeutic approaches that cater to individual client needs, addressing their specific challenges through evidence-based methods.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that consider each client's circumstances, goals, and mental health complexities, ensuring a clear path to recovery.
• Helping clients gain insights into their emotions, thoughts, and personal relationships, empowering them to take proactive steps in their mental health journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice independently, such as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A clean professional history without limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a capacity for empathy, allowing for genuine connections with clients.
• High levels of computer literacy to effectively use our digital platforms for therapy sessions and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in virtual counseling or exposure to community health clinics may find their skills particularly advantageous in this setting. Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment will be viewed favorably.
