This position is primarily remote, allowing you to offer services with flexibility and convenience. While working from home, you will utilize digital platforms to engage with clients, facilitate therapy sessions, and collaborate with your healthcare team effectively. Our outpatient office in Macon will serve as a supportive base and occasional meeting point for team gatherings and collaboration.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations to effectively address the unique needs of each patient.
• Maintain clear and open lines of communication with supervisors, family members, and other key individuals involved in a patient’s care, providing regular updates on progress.
• Develop and provide a tentative schedule of therapy appointments, home visits, and other interventions for effective treatment monitoring.
• Coordinate home visits and in-home observations to conduct thorough chart reviews and gather insights through interviews and data analysis.
• Ensure that the behavioral health program plans are executed efficiently and adjusted as needed to align with patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, offering insights and suggestions for enhancing patient care.
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes to keep detailed records that reflect each patient’s journey and treatment progression.
• Organize and facilitate training sessions to ensure staff proficiency in the implementation of treatment plans and documentation protocols.
• Provide ongoing follow-up support through interviews, home visits, and observations to assist clients as they navigate their challenges.
• Maintain accurate and organized records that are easily accessible to authorized individuals involved in patient care.
• Serve as a liaison with community partners to support broader mental health initiatives and developmental goals.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of our programs for clients.

This role involves working with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth who are facing various mental health challenges. As an LPC at Rethink Mental Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to provide individualized care tailored to each client’s specific circumstances, ensuring an inclusive approach to mental wellness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Currently, possess an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, ideally within a clinical setting.
• Expertise in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use, or trauma recovery is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal, ethical, and clinical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.
• Proven ability to work cohesively within a healthcare team to achieve common goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies is a plus.

• Specialized training in evidenced-based therapeutic practices.
• Experience with diverse populations and a demonstrated ability to adapt approaches to meet varying cultural needs.
• Participation in community outreach programs or collaborative projects related to mental health.
