To thrive as a Remote Chart Analyst, you need a solid understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (such as ICD-10 and CPT), and experience with health information management, typically supported by relevant certifications like RHIT or CCS. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and chart auditing software is crucial for efficient and accurate data review.
