• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine new clients' needs and goals, facilitating a strong therapeutic alliance from the outset.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, adjusting strategies based on client progress and feedback.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, addressing clients' issues through talk therapy as well as modeling adaptive and healthy behaviors.
• Support clients by fostering constructive self-reflection, instilling effective coping strategies, and helping nurture their relationships.
• Regularly monitor client perceptions and adherence to treatment regimens, ensuring continual engagement and progress towards recovery.
• Communicate transparently with clients regarding financial and emotional commitments involved in the therapeutic process.

You will be working with a diverse population of clients, each presenting unique challenges and backgrounds. • A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field is essential.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and proficiency in multiple languages are preferred to cater to our diverse client population.
• A commitment to culturally congruent treatment and community-oriented practice.
• Character traits such as empathy, sensitivity, and a strong desire to foster healing within clients are crucial.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR) is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and counseling software is beneficial to streamline documentation and client tracking.
• Previous involvement in community mental health initiatives can enhance your ability to understand and engage with our client population effectively.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
