Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team at Tarrant Post-Acute Care Practice Center. This full-time remote position allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals navigating trauma, as we work together to help them reclaim their futures. The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, giving counselors the flexibility to create their own work environment. However, our outpatient office in Potomac is also available as a resource, and team collaboration is actively encouraged through virtual meetings and ongoing professional development activities. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patientsโ€™ histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience and coping strategies.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing support to help clients process their trauma and foster emotional healing.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver integrated, holistic care for all patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, employing a calm and focused approach.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional growth opportunities focusing on trauma-informed care best practices.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously refine treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from various types of trauma. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other computer applications essential for clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience
