Build the Accounting Infrastructure for What Comes Next

ProAmpac is seeking a Senior Vice President, Accounting to serve as the Company’s senior accounting executive and lead the strategy, governance, and execution of accounting across a complex, multi‑site organization.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will have enterprise‑wide responsibility for financial reporting, accounting operations, controls, consolidation, audit, tax, cash management, and shared services. The SVP will help shape the financial infrastructure required to support ProAmpac’s continued growth and acquisition strategy.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished accounting executive to operate at the intersection of technical accounting excellence, enterprise transformation, operational discipline, and business growth.

The successful leader will bring the credibility to serve as the Company’s senior authority on accounting matters, the executive presence to partner with the CFO, Audit Committee, lenders, auditors, and senior leadership, and the change leadership required to build scalable processes across a growing organization.

The Opportunity

As Senior Vice President, Accounting, you will:

  • Lead the enterprise accounting organization, establishing strategy, governance, operating standards, and accountability.

  • Own the global close and consolidation process, driving disciplined monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

  • Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures to SEC‑company standards, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.

  • Serve as the organization’s senior technical accounting authority on acquisitions, integrations, complex transactions, and emerging standards.

  • Establish and govern enterprise accounting policies, procedures, and the Company’s chart of accounts.

  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance, improving controls, risk management, documentation, and accountability.

  • Lead relationships with external auditors, including audits, compliance reviews, and technical matters.

  • Provide financial reporting, governance, and accounting leadership to the CFO, executive leadership, Audit Committee, lenders, and other stakeholders.

  • Provide executive oversight for Corporate Accounting, Tax, Shared Services, Cash Management, Consolidation, and related functions.

  • Lead through a matrixed environment, guiding divisional finance leaders and plant controllers.

  • Partner with the CFO and senior leadership on acquisitions, integrations, strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and growth priorities.

  • Develop, mentor, and retain a high‑performing accounting and finance organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

  • 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
